The Judges.
Males: Mr. Frank Kane (GB)
Females: Mr. Tadeusz Chwalny (PL)
Entries: A total of 20 dogs. Nine males and eleven females.
Dentition inspection.
Judge Mr. Tadeusz Chwalny (PL) has performed a thorough and complete inspection; all dogs (females) checked for scissor bite and whether all the required teeth (premolars/molars) where present.
The dental inspection of judge Mr. Frank Kane (GB) of most dogs (read: concerned the males) was limited to briefly lifting the upper lip of the presented dog. These performed inspections - our opinion! - could not be more or at most be no more than determining the presence?... of a scissor bite. We, at Fanchon, consider and qualify such a "dentition investigation" as being the execution of a " Do Not See, Not Noticed! ' (judging)-
policy, which means that (any) serious dental problems (e.g. spotting missing of many premolars/molars!) do not have to be made known (in written) in the judges report. The consequences: A serious skeleton failure and problem is not "detected".

Judges and the difference in performing their dental inspections.
At the show we noticed big posters on billboards informing what it means (preparing and the procedures) for showing dogs and what the judges would be looking for while inspecting, in each class ,the dogs that are presented. See opposite German text with subject: 2 Zahnkontrolle (Teeth inspection).
Below pictures give an impression of how the dentition inspection - on both show days - was done/performed by the (3) judges.
Both Mr. Chwalny and Mrs. Agne-Draudsin have taken the time to carry out a proper, thorough inspection of the teeth (premolars/molars) and check for a scissor bite, all in accordance with the German Judging Regulations as prescribed for judges in order to do a correct dentition check at the show on the presented dogs.
Chapeau! .. For both above mentioned judges for their compliance with the instructions/regulations that concern the dentition inspection as required and thereby making also a tribute to a (more) healthy breed population.
