Puppy information, visits and assigning:

Our puppies are born in a whelping box which is situated in a quiet and secluded area of our living room so we can monitor Mom and have a good control on what is going on and also to be able to assist when birth of puppies is taken place. Mother and pups stay there for the first 3 to 4 weeks and after a while (depending on the number of pups born and their development) the whelping box is moved to another spot in the living room where we can expand the whelping box by installing a puppy run so that the puppies and their mother have more space, freedom of movement and a play area.

Health and checks.

Our puppies will be dewormed at least four times, vaccinated twice before the age of 9 weeks and after they are equipped with an ID. Chip are BAER tested for deafness.  Around the 8th/9th week a general health check is done (re: heart/lungs etc.) by the Vet.  After undergoing the health check puppies will become available to their new owners, including a Dutch issued (EU) pet passport. Our puppies are guaranteed only to leave when being in an excellent health condition. Copies of the Sire and Dam health clearances are submitted to new owner as well a copy of the puppies BAER test result.

Assigning puppies and visits.

Assignment.

Our puppies are placed in order of the dates that incoming applications have been received.  A written confirmation (by e-mail) that concerns the choice of gender and color preference will be sent to applicant.  Please note:  No reservation is valid unless we have sent a confirmation to the applicant.

For European located applicants (outside The Netherlands) we may require to meet us in person as part of the final puppy placement.
The final appointment of puppy’s takes place after the deafness test and general health check are performed and - under no circumstances we will appoint any of the puppies to new owners in order to avoid disappointments - these results are available. However, future owners that visit Mom and puppies may inform during visits their preference for a particular (or a second puppy) and assignment of one of the puppies, if possible, will be taken into consideration.

Visiting puppies.

Of course new owners are most welcome to visit Dad, Mom and the puppies and be fully involved in the different stages during the pup’s development. These visits are possible from the age of third week on until the moment they leave for their new home.  Appointments for visit(s) will be scheduled (if possible) to availability of dates that are convenient for both parties.
