CAC SHOW DETMOLD (G)
On July 6, 2014 the Pointer und Setter Landesgruppe Westphalia Ruhr held there yearly CAC Wanderpokal Show in Detmold-Remmighausen, Germany. It’s a Specialty Show for the Continental pointing dog breeds. Entered and present were dogs from the breed: Pointer, Irish Setter, Gordon Setter, English Setter and Red and White Setter.
Total number of entries: 78 dogs, including 8 English Setters spread over 4 different Classes in males and in 2 classes of the females.
Absent from the English Setter breed was the dog entered in the Intermediate Class. Brought before the judge, but not evaluated/judged (cause: biting incident) the dog in Champion Class.
Due to warm weather, the show was held indoors. The sandy surface of the horses training facility hall was sprayed, rolled and compacted, therefore a pleasant surface for the dogs to show a good movement.
Appointed with the qualification Vorzüglich (Excellent) Dunley Nothing Compares To You (Fergie) acquired on the day of the exact age of 13 months her last point needed for the third Youth Title: German (VDH.) Youth Champion.

During judging of the dogs a thorough dentition inspection was performed on almost all dogs that were presented.
